Park City-based Redhead Marketing & PR welcomes Karen Boe and Lucy Nelson to its team as the business continues to expand with notable clients such as Walmart, The Gateway, Snake River Roasting Co., Moose Creek Ranch, Promontory, and Save People Save Wildlife.
Karen Boe is a well-connected, senior-level strategist with a proven record of success. With energy, drive and enthusiasm, Karen champions Salt Lake’s visitor economy ongoing for Visit Salt Lake and serves other first-rate hospitality clients. She creates and manages trusted working relationships with a large variety of local, specialty and national media, procures high levels of media placement, and produces dramatic sales growth and greatly increased client visibility in multiple markets.
With more than 30 years of experience, Karen has been responsible for creating compelling PR and marketing campaigns for many notable clients, including Visit Salt Lake, Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco, The Downtown Alliance, the Outdoor Industry Association, and the Outdoor Foundation. She has also managed PR for high-profile restaurant, retail, and sporting event clients throughout her prolific career.

A Minnesota native, Lucy Nelson was a broadcast local news reporter for four years, including most recently for Fox 13 Utah.
Her experience of reporting on a broad range of story topics crafted a gifted videographer and writer with the ability to connect with people across diverse backgrounds. She has the valuable, behind-the-scenes knowledge of how the media works across various platforms and the kinds of stories that resonate with audiences, and how these skills apply to marketing and public relations.
