Eagle Mountain is set to welcome a new Walmart Supercenter, marking a significant milestone in the city’s growth and part of Walmart’s ongoing commitment to investing in American communities.

Located at the corner of SR-73 and Spring Run Parkway, this new Supercenter will bring expanded shopping options, 300 new jobs and infrastructure improvements to one of Utah’s fastest-growing communities. The 175,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in late summer and is part of Walmart’s broader initiative to build or convert more than 150 stores nationwide during the next several years.

Save Time and Money
The new Eagle Mountain Supercenter is designed to make shopping quick and convenient with a wide range of products at Walmart’s Every Day Low Prices and services for how, when and where Eagle Mountain customers want to shop. Features include:

• Full grocery with broad assortment of fresh produce, bakery, deli and dairy
• A fresh sushi kiosk and easy Grab and Go section
• Exciting new apparel brands
• Health & beauty, home, pets, baby, electronics, toys, sporting goods and more
• Walmart online grocery service for pickup at the store or home delivery
• Fuel station with convenience store – Walmart+ members receive 10 cent/gallon discount
• A Mother’s Room to care for the next generation of Walmart customers

“We’re proud to bring a Walmart Supercenter to Eagle Mountain and to be part of this city’s incredible growth,” Eagle Mountain Store Manager Kevin Forsgren said. “We look forward to providing a shopping experience that meets the needs of local families while creating meaningful job opportunities. We’re excited to build strong connections with the community and become a trusted partner in their everyday lives.”

New Jobs
The Eagle Mountain Walmart will bring 300 new jobs to the community. Whether coming for a job or staying for a career, Walmart associates have opportunities to build skills, gain experience, grow their earnings and use industry-leading benefits to help them flourish in both their personal and professional lives.

Walmart associates also have access to company-paid skills certificates and college degrees through Live Better U, paid time off, medical plans, 20 no-cost therapy sessions, 401k and associate stock purchase plans, both with a company match, associate discounts, a free Walmart+ membership and more.

Hiring for those jobs begins in May. careers.walmart.com

Infrastructure Improvements
The Eagle Mountain Supercenter will serve as an economic driver, creating new jobs and increasing commercial activity in the area. To support the anticipated growth, infrastructure improvements are planned, including dual left-turn lanes into the Walmart property on Spring Run Parkway and upgrades along Ranches Parkway to improve north-south traffic flow and access to Campus Drive.

“We are thrilled to welcome Walmart to Eagle Mountain,” Mayor Tom Westmoreland said. “This new addition marks a significant milestone in our city’s growth and progress. Walmart’s presence will not only provide convenient access to goods and services for our residents, but it will also create jobs and strengthen our local economy. We look forward to a successful partnership and a bright future together.”

Walmart will celebrate the new Eagle Mountain Supercenter with a grand opening ceremony later this year – more details to come.
