La Jolla Santa Pub Crawl on December 15

INAUGURAL LA JOLLA SANTA PUB CRAWL ON DECEMBER 15 TO COLLECT TOY DONATIONS FOR RADY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Four Participating Restaurants and Bars Encourage Revelers to Bring Unwrapped Toys

La Jolla Santa pub CrawlSpearheaded by the co-founder of the hugely successful Park City Santa Pub Crawl in Utah which now draws 2,000 revelers each year, the first-ever La Jolla Santa Pub Crawl will be held on Saturday, December 15, beginning at 6:00 p.m. It is designed to be a fun opportunity to eat, drink and be merry, San Diego-style. The pub crawl is open to the public, ages 21 and over. It is free to attend, but participants are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to Hennessey’s anytime during the evening. The donations will be delivered to Rady Children’s Hospital to distribute to their patients. Participating bars on the pub crawl are George’s at the Cove Level 2, The Spot, Jose’s Courtroom, and Hennessey’s. Crawlers are invited to be creative and wear festive, holiday-themed costumes.

“The Park City Santa Pub Crawl began eight years ago with about 20 participants, and it has since grown to about 2,000 people, taking over the town and traveling from all over the country,” says Hilary Reiter of Redhead Marketing & PR, organizer of both La Jolla and Park City Santa Pub Crawls. “Given how many people from San Diego visit Park City and vice versa, it makes so much sense to replicate the event in La Jolla with all the great venues and walkability there. Each year, we see amazingly fun and creative costumes, and a vast age range from early 20s to those in their 70s. Everyone has a blast, we collect thousands of toys, and the local economy gets a great boost as well.”

Expanding Your Social Media Horizons

If your social media strategy is limited to throwing up occasional posts on your social channels, it’s time to rethink and expand your approach to keep up with the competition.

Starting Summer 2016 with Exciting New Clients

It’s looking to be a red hot summer for Redhead Marketing & PR after what has been a fantastic first half of 2016 for our small, but robust, full-service marketing and communications firm based in Park City, Utah.

This month, we began working with two Southern California clients in two very different industries – luxury real estate and animated film. Equity Residences offers high net worth individuals the opportunity to invest in a portfolio of high-end vacation homes in many exciting destinations. Investors can vacation in the exclusive homes, earn dividends in the form of rental revenue, and have the opportunity for capital appreciation when homes are sold in the future. What a creative concept that makes it possible to own and enjoy many vacation homes! We are creating content for social media and blogs, and making some improvements to their website.

Hollywood-based Epic Pictures is doing an initial, limited release of animated film, “Space Dogs: Adventure to the Moon,” a sequel voiced by Ashlee Simpson and Alicia Silverstone. We are pleased to be managing the marketing and public relations in the Salt Lake City market for the adorable film about two canine astronauts going to the moon. Needless to say, our four-legged interns are quite thrilled to have landed this project! We are conceiving and managing grassroots marketing efforts, traditional public relations, and digital advertising in advance of the August 26 release date. The film will be showing in many Utah theaters in cities like Provo, Draper, Ogden and Salt Lake City. Stay tuned for more info about Space Dogs coming to a Utah theater near you!

Taking on Southern California

We are having an excellent month working from Orange County in a most beautiful spot in Southern California. From attending networking functions to meetings with potential clients based here, it has been a most productive few weeks taking advantage of exciting opportunities. Along with out Newport Beach-based creative guru, we’ve met with a diverse array of businesses, and it looks like we’ll be securing some new accounts and projects. Orange County is a wealth of opportunity, and we are receiving a great response to our more personalized and affordable approach.
