SALT LAKE CITY’S OFFICIAL JULY 4TH CELEBRATION RETURNS TO THE GATEWAY WITH LIVE MUSIC, FOOD, AND FIREWORKS

July 4th at The GatewayThe Salt Lake City community is invited to celebrate America’s independence in the most festive fashion at The Gateway. An annual tradition that is free and family-friendly kicks off at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 4 with entertainment, food, games, and fireworks. The celebration, centered at Olympic Plaza, will culminate in a spectacular fireworks show, starting at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.). Fireworks will be launched from the West side of the Olympic Plaza. Viewing areas include the Plaza, East Side stairs and upper level of The Gateway.

Popular DJs and on-air talent from radio stations X96 and U92 will emcee the evening while live music will be performed by:

DJ Dizz, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
The Christian Mills Band, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
DJ Jared, 8:00-10:00 p.m.

Kid-friendly activities include face painters and balloon artists with yard games and karaoke appropriate for all ages. Most Gateway merchants will be open late for the festivities.
