PROMONTORY CLUB CONTINUES TO EXPAND, INVESTING MILLIONS INTO
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND UPGRADES
A grand re-opening of the updated Beach Club was held this month, while third golf course and clubhouse, The Hills, is set to open in the fall; Groundbreaking for Lavender Spa expansion scheduled for this year.
Pivotal Group, the developer of Promontory Club, continues to invest in world-class amenities to further enhance and differentiate Park City’s most sought after, private mountain club community. As the appeal of Park City grew during the pandemic, and many new families were drawn to Promontory as both year-round and second home residents, CEO Francis Najafi recognized the importance of accelerating the expansion of amenities. A two-million-dollar renovation was completed this month on the Beach Club and a Grand Re-Opening celebration was attended and extremely well received by the Promontory members. Other amenities opening this year include The Hills, Promontory’s third golf course and clubhouse that will offer Sage, a modern Italian restaurant. A groundbreaking for the expansion of the Lavender Spa is also planned for this year.
“From the earliest days of Promontory’s conception, our goal has been to continually evolve our luxurious community, innovate, and elevate the amenities for a private club lifestyle that offers an unparalleled experience for multi-generational families,” says Najafi. “2023 ushers in a new era for Promontory with the addition of The Hills to cater to golfers, an exciting new dining experience, and the Lavender Spa expansion to provide more opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation. The ever-popular Beach Club’s new features and culinary offerings have quickly proven to be a hit with members this summer.”
Upgrades to the Beach Club were a priority for Najafi as the breathtaking, high alpine oasis has proven to be one of the private community’s most popular and unique summer offerings. The seating capacity both on-beach and on-patio has been doubled. A new walk-up Beach Bar and Shave Ice window serve up summertime refreshment. An adult-only terrace is a separate area providing new private reservation cabanas. The kitchen has been expanded to create ample space for Promontory’s exceptional culinary staff to incorporate a more robust, beach-inspired menu, including an upscale al fresco dinner menu. Live DJs energize the beach vibe throughout summer weekends.
Rounding out Promontory’s acclaimed golf offerings that include the Nicklaus Painted Valley Golf Course and Dye Canyon Golf Course is The Hills, conceived by golf course architect Forrest Richardson and design partner Jeff Danner. Scheduled to open this fall, the 18-hole course offers all par-3 holes. Along with the new course, several signature amenities are to include The Hills Golf Clubhouse with Sage Italian Restaurant and outdoor patio as well as four indoor golf simulator bays with state-of-the-art Trackman technology. Cascade Greens, Promontory’s 18-hole putting course was inspired by the famous Himalayas at St. Andrew. It is complemented by a full practice facility and on-range Golf Academy complete with multiple hitting bays and a TaylorMade Fitting Center.
The Lavender Spa expansion will include men’s and women’s hydrotherapy areas and beautiful new locker spaces, six additional treatment rooms, and an upscale relaxation lounge complete with oxygen therapy stations.
