A Utah PR Agency Sets Goals for 2026

Redhead Marketing & PR president Hilary Reiter AzzarettiIt’s that time of year when people and businesses are setting goals for 2026. A communications industry reporter asked me to provide an overview of my goals for Redhead Marketing & PR, which prompted me to give this some more thought. Even as the owner of an established, reputable Utah PR agency, it’s hard to know what to expect for the coming year. The public relations profession is experiencing a period of profound evolution. My approach is to look back at 2025 and analyze what we accomplished for our clients and ourselves and how we tackled the latest trends. This helps us to set realistic goals, priorities, and expectations for 2026.

I am not a numbers person when it comes to financial forecasting…that’s one reason why I chose PR as a career path as opposed to investment banking. Sure, it would have been more lucrative, but not nearly as fun! My goals are not focused on identifying how much growth we want to experience as an agency. The fact that we have expanded our business year over year is satisfying. We measure our success more in terms of the caliber of our clients and the results we achieve for them.

I shared with the reporter our PR expertise in Utah and beyond, our unprecedented growth of 80 percent, and what we will prioritize for clients in 2026. Helping brands share their stories factually and authentically will be our focus in a way that builds trust and helps them appear in those critical AI search results. More on this below!

Redhead’s 2026 Goals

1. Redhead Marketing & PR’s goal is to be more intentional about public relations campaigns as they relate to AI search discoverability. We will educate prospective clients about how PR impacts AI search results and develop holistic strategies to ensure their brands are appearing in those results. This goes beyond traditional media relations. We will also encourage clients to create LLM-friendly content for a variety of channels and help them understand how to structure their website content for generative AI. In short, we will guide clients in navigating and mastering the new territory of AI search which has created a newfound, critical need for purposeful public relations.

2. Utah has one of the fastest growing economies in the U.S., and Redhead Marketing & PR has developed an expertise in representing national brands looking to enter the market and grow here. My goal is to aggressively brand Redhead Marketing & PR as the premier agency partner in Utah to franchises and other national companies who need local expertise and media relations. Our membership in PRConsultants Group allows us to seamlessly partner with PR professionals in other markets who provide similar local knowledge, giving us a powerful network to manage public relations wherever clients have a presence and want to build awareness. We also want to grow the number of clients for whom we do regional and national media relations.

3. Despite doom and gloom related to economic uncertainty dominating much of 2025’s news headlines, Redhead Marketing & PR experienced unprecedented growth of 80 percent. We are on track for another strong year ahead. I have no doubt the momentum will continue. We are planning to add new freelance talent to our team. This will help us serve our clients even better and secure even more press coverage for them. As the business grows, it’s tough to be everywhere at once. Having seasoned talent as part of the team, while I remain the main point of contact for clients and PR lead, ensures we – and the businesses we partner with – thrive.

4. While our approach for each client is completely customized, we will offer content packages to streamline and maximize their AI search discoverability strategies. These will include monthly blog posts and press releases that can be repurposed for:
• Substack and Reddit
• LinkedIn articles
• Wire service distributions

These packages can be individualized based on each client’s goals and budget.

From hospitality to real estate development to wellness and retail, I love learning about new industries and applying fresh ideas to each brand. The fact that so many remarkable companies trust us to be their Park City and Salt Lake PR agency is humbling and a testament to the quality of our work. Our clients are at the heart of our existence.

3) our vast network of relationships.

As mentioned, there is much value to being the Utah member of PRConsultans Group. We get to learn from each other and share valuable PR tech tools, in addition to acting as a national PR agency for clients with localized public relations needs.
