Curated, High-Energy Utah City Racquet Club to open in Vineyard, Utah.

Utah City is serving up a new standard of racquet sports. On June 13, 2026, the 700-acre mixed-use development will debut the Utah City Racquet Club. In this curated space, sport, music, and community come together to create a distinctive, relevant reimagining of the traditional club experience. Flagborough, the developer of Utah City, is teaming up with LVBL on the facility, which features two tennis courts, four padel courts, and six pickleball courts. From coast to coast in major metropolitan areas, Los Angeles-based LVBL has introduced purpose-built, lively environments for tennis, padel, and pickleball—designed for how the next generation wants to play. The community celebration for the grand opening will take place on Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. With a DJ, food trucks, kids games, adult clinics, and prizes.

“This exciting partnership with LVBL to operate the Utah City Racquet Club reflects our commitment to creating environments where social connection and community building are the centerpiece of the Utah City Athletics programming,” said Jacklyn Briggs, Director of Marketing for Utah City. “We are looking forward to introducing people to the game of padel and welcoming pickleball and tennis players to experience the new Racquet Club surrounded by epic views.”

Racquet Sports Are Growing in Popularity in the U.S., especially among Gen Z Players.

The Sports and Fitness Industry Association reports that racquet sports had their strongest five-year run in U.S. history from 2019 to 2025, when participation rose from 14 percent of the U.S. population in 2020 to nearly 21 percent in 2025. Gen Z participation in racquet sports reached 27 percent in 2025, with Millennials at nearly 23 percent.

As padel rapidly gains popularity in the U.S., Utah City Racquet Club is one of the first to introduce the Spanish sport to Utah County. The United States Padel Association reports a record 1,073,000 Americans played padel in 2025. Nationally, 10 million padel players are anticipated by 2030.
