Campfire Grill Restaurant

The Campfire Grill Restaurant elevates the Bear Lake dining experience with gourmet meals consisting of fresh, local products. Saturday nights feature live music by local bands that perform country, folk, and classic rock music styles. New menu items this summer include a Rendered Duck Breast with black pepper citrus glaze and Bear Lake Wagyu Meatloaf with Texas toast and white portabella mushroom gravy. Another new offering is the Wednesday BBQ and Brew Special, a $19.95 BBQ dinner with entrée and two sides and a selection of $3 beer. The featured special will vary each week and will be announced on the Campfire Grill’s website, Facebook page and Instagram.

Enjoying Utah’s breathtaking night sky goes hand-in-hand with glamping, so several weekends per month, Conestoga Ranch offers weekend Star Parties guided by local astronomers with the use of telescopes. Groups like family reunions and corporate retreats can also make special reservations for private Star Parties.

Eclipse Enthusiasts Can Enjoy the Solar Event with Themed Visit to Bear Lake, Utah

Northern Utah’s luxury glamping destination, Conestoga Ranch, is rolling out the red carpet for the August 21 total solar eclipse. A one-night lodging package is available to help guests maximize the highly anticipated, rare occasion. Conestoga Ranch’s location near the event horizon will allow guests to experience 80 percent eclipse totality.

All-inclusive rates start at $195 per person based on double occupancy. Guests may choose to lodge in a Conestoga wagon, Grand Tent with en-suite bathroom, or Traditional Tent. The resort provides multiple private bathrooms with showers for guests with accommodations other than Grand Tents.

Promotion for Early Season Glamping Reservations Available Until May 1

GARDEN CITY, UTAH – Entering its third season as Utah’s premiere, luxury glamping destination, Conestoga Ranch has lined up an opening weekend that offers guests a wealth of diversions and unique dining experiences for the whole family. The May 19 to 21 celebration, adjacent to Utah’s turquoise-colored Bear Lake, is an all-inclusive weekend, starting at $140 per person for adults and $85 for kids under 12 (taxes, alcohol, and food & beverage service charge are additional). A 15 percent savings on reservations made by May 1 for the early season period, May 19 through June 15, is also available. The code early17pp may be used for online bookings or mentioned when making a phone reservation.

The opening weekend festivities will kick off with a welcome reception at Campfire Grill Restaurant on Friday, May 19, providing a forum for guests to mingle. A tasting dinner will follow, featuring a preview of Chef Vincent Liberato’s new menu items and last season’s favorites. After dinner, Utah State University astral expert Tom Westre will lead a stargazing session to give guests a tour of Bear Lake’s beautiful night sky. Visitors can close the evening with complimentary s’mores at their private fire pits.

Additional activities planned throughout the weekend include a yoga practice and country swing dance lessons. Off-site recreation like horseback riding, ATV rides, boating, fishing, and mountain biking can be arranged for an additional charge with Conestoga Ranch’s activity partners. Saturday’s lunch will feature Campfire Grill Restaurant’s all-you-can-eat artisan pizza, and a pig roast accompanied by live music will make for a festive dinner that evening. A farewell breakfast will be provided Sunday morning.

CONESTOGA RANCH CELEBRATES DADS ALL WEEKEND LONG FOR FATHER’S DAY

Dads Will Receive Royal Glamping Treatment with Fun Competitions, Free Barbecue, and More

GARDEN CITY, UTAH – For the fathers who love to camp with their kids, Conestoga Ranch invites families to take Dad glamping this Father’s Day weekend at Bear Lake, Utah’s premiere luxury camping destination. The ranch has lined up a program of music, competitions, and even a free barbecue dinner for Dad to celebrate fathers all weekend long in Garden City.

“We know how much time and effort many fathers have put in to taking their families on camping adventures, so we have lined up a weekend where camping is made easy as a way of giving back to Dad,” says Tom Hendrick, one of five partners who opened the glamping resort to rave reviews last summer.

Father’s Day weekend festivities kick off on June 17 with a Western Barbecue at the resort’s Campfire Grill Restaurant. The barbecue dinner is complimentary for fathers. The menu features barbecue ribs and chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, a selection of sides, and s’mores for dessert. The price per person is $24 for adults and $16 for kid under 12 (tax and gratuity is additional). Live entertainment will be provided by Sam DeLeeuw, a poet, humorist and emcee.

Following a fun Saturday of adventure and recreation at Bear Lake, Conestoga Ranch invites fathers to take each other on in some friendly competition with a a bag toss and ping pong tournament from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Winners will earn prizes from Conestoga Ranch’s General Store. There will also be a pizza- making contest for Dads judged by resident pizza chef Cassidy Hudson. The crowned pizza winner will receive a one-night stay in a conestoga wagon during the 2016 season on a Sunday through Thursday night.

Saturday night’s entertainment at Campfire Grill Restaurant will feature Outlaw western music by GT Hurley, a Montana-based singer-songwriter.

All dads staying at Conestoga Ranch during Father’s Day weekend will receive a $50 credit for their next visit to the resort during the 2016 season.
