PLAYING IT FORWARD WORKSHOP AND MAY EVENTS AT THE PAINT MIXER
The Paint Mixer will offer its first-ever Play it Forward workshop at its studio on Park City’s Main Street. This four-week journey, from May 16 to June 6, explores ways for participants to move their ideas forward in a peer-based group setting. Jill Johnson and Kirsten Gunnerud of Rocket Trike will lead the group in making progress on their individual project ideas, such as books, new business concepts, products or adventures. Founded by Gunnerud, Rocket Trike is a group of individuals who create workshops that inspire participants to live more soulful, heart-centered lives through the power of play, creativity, support and momentum. Johnson and Gunnerud boast a successful track record of using creative tools to help people, businesses, and organizations break through. “There are so many talented, creative individuals in our community who may have unique ideas that have been brewing for some time, but can benefit from inspiration, motivation and guidance to help them come to fruition,” says Jill Johnson, who also owns The Paint Mixer. “We think this collaborative, small-group workshop will provide helpful encouragement and feedback while enjoying some healthy camaraderie and collaboration.”

Designed to accommodate work and parenting obligations, the workshop will be held on Tuesday mornings, 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Two one-on-one sessions are also in

ABOUT THE PAINT MIXER
Offering a unique mix of art and entertainment for all ages, The Paint Mixer has studios in two locations: Park City’s Main Street and the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City. In addition to a variety of theme nights, on- and off-site events for corporate groups and private parties are offered regularly. An artist leads participants, who need not have painting skills, through fun, step-by-step instruction to recreate a featured work of art. Music, mingling with others, and wine/beer/food tastings create a fun and relaxed social setting conducive to connecting, discovering and expressing. At the end of each session, guests depart with their masterpieces and fond memories. In addition to theme nights for the public, The Paint Mixer hosts private gatherings for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, teen workshops, bridal/baby showers, and more.
